The Agape Group Ministry attempts to encourage members to build relationships and to serve one another through small fellowship groups. Agape Groups are organized geographically and provide an way for the diverse body of Falls Church Christians who are neighbors to get to know one another and to respond to each other’s needs. Our Agape Group Ministry offers all of our members the opportunity to show and experience the love of our Savior.
Some opportunities to serve in the Agape Group Ministry include:
- Serving as a Leader or Coordinator of an Agape Group
- As part of your Agape Group, helping to organize and provide food and to meet other physical needs, when members are receiving medical treatment or when a member has suffered the loss of a loved one.
- As part of your Agape Group, assisting our senior / infirm members with any specific needs they may have.
- As part of your Agape Group, sending flowers to members admitted to the hospital or to members upon the death of a loved one or the birth of child, on behalf of your Agape Group.
(Note: “Agape”, pronounced “ah gah pay” is the New Testament Greek word for “love”.)
