Let your

light shine

Come for our Bible Camp Adventure July 25-27

Come experience the beauty of the great outdoors and discover why Jesus tells his followers that actions speak louder than words.  We've planned a special weekend of stories, crafts, food, and fun - a time when we can learn to let our light shine.

We'll serve up a camping dinner on Friday, lunch for the kids on Saturday, and on Sunday we'll host a potluck meal followed by outdoor playtime.

What is Bible Camp?

Bible Camp is a short-term summer program to teach children about God, the Bible, and faith in a fun and engaging way. It includes activities like singing, games, Bible stories, crafts, and snacks. Think of Bible Camp as a fun, city version of summer camp but without the overnight stays! Bible Camp fosters a sense of community among children and families within the church, allowing them to build friendships and develop a sense of belonging. It's also a wonderful outreach program to connect with children and families in the wider community, introducing them to the church.

Does it cost anything for my child to attend Bible Camp?

NO! There is no cost to attend Bible Camp at Falls Church. As part of our ongoing efforts to support our community, we are collecting school supplies for the upcoming school year. We welcome a contribution to that effort, but a contribution is not required to attend.

Can I drop off my camper or do I need to stay with them?

You are welcome to come and go or stay on campus during Bible Camp. Whatever you choose, parents are encouraged to enjoy fellowshipping with the other adults and let the kids navigate camp with their age group and "Camp Counselor" on their own. Friday evening we will have a speaker for parents on a topic relevant to raising children. Past speakers have discussed keeping kids safe on the internet, social media, and mental health. This year's speaker is still TBD. Saturday is a full day of Bible Camp, so it's a great time for you to drop off your camper and run some errands! Sunday is a Bible Camp family day, so please plan to join your camper for Bible class and worship, followed by a potluck lunch and outdoor fun!

Do I need to preregister my camper?

We encourage you to preregister your camper using the link above so we can begin to get to know your camper and ensure we have accommodations in place if needed. You will also have an opportunity to register when you drop off your camper!

Do you have allergy friendly food options?

We encourage those with allergies to preregister so we can ensure we have allergy friendly snacks your kids will enjoy. We will have a limited number of allergy free snacks available just in case.

How can I learn more about your children's classes?

Please visit our Children's Ministry page for more information regarding our children's classes and how you can become a part of them!
