Missions Ministry
Our Missions Ministry exists to support efforts to preach and teach the Gospel with special emphasis on areas of the world where there is little or no church presence. Participants meet regularly to discuss specific mission efforts, addressing needs was they arise, and continually encouraging missionaries and their families.
Youth Ministry
Our Youth Ministry exists to equip students to hear God's call to ministry, and to reach out to unbelieving students, bringing them into a community that praises God. With a focus on junior and senior high school students, participants help by teaching classes, chaperoning events, or hosting devotionals in their home.
Children's Ministry
Our Children's Ministry exists to provide instruction and guidance in the Word of God with particular focus on Pre-K, Kindergarten, and elementary-aged children. Participants may teach classes, lead Children's Worship, assist with planning, and take part in our annual Vacation Bible School.
Adult Education Ministry
Our Adult Education Ministry exists to provide members of the congregation with instruction and guidance in the Word of God. In this way, member teachers encourage spiritual development. Participants in this ministry may teach weekly classes, or may participate in the Adult Education Steering Group to plan and coordinate Bible classes for each quarter.
Benevolence Ministry
Our C.A.R.E. Ministry (Christian Assistance Resources for Everyone) exists to address the needs of those facing difficult times - both members of the church and those in the local community. Participants in this ministry share the love and kindness of God and thereby reveal and glorify God and his Son.
Outreach Ministry
Our Outreach Ministry exists to lead people into a life-changing walk with Jesus Christ. Members are actively engaged in evangelistic efforts, meeting and studying with those who are looking to learn more about the Gospel or creating pathways to relationships with our faith community. Many also serve as greeters.
Family Life Ministry
Our Family Life Ministry exists to bring all members into a Godly, loving, life-changing fellowship with one another that is even attractive to guests. Members focus on unity encouragement, promoting opportunities and activities that deepen relationships within our community of faith. Their efforts may be church-wide or within smaller affinity groups.
Worship Ministry
Our Worship Ministry exists to plan, coordinate, and direct efforts to lead the congregation in reverent worship of God. Participants help to identify worship leaders each week, oversee the preparation of communion, and help to create slides for the screen in the main auditorium.
Technology Ministry
Our Technology Committee exists to oversee all facets of information technology at the Falls Church property. By ensuring all applications and technology-based systems are up-to-date and functioning properly, participants enable wi-fi connectivity throughout the building, improve security, and help to enhance Bible study and worship services.
Building and Grounds Ministry
Our Building & Grounds Committee exists to ensure a clean, attractive, and secure environment where the church can meet for weekly services, special events, and activities. Participants oversee building repairs, regular maintenance, custodial efforts, and groundskeeping.
Finance Ministry
Our church treasurer oversees general accounting functions, including general ledger, payables, payroll, property, and budget reporting. Participants in this work support the treasurer with weekly collections and budget preparations.
