Our Youth Ministry exists to equip students to hear God’s call to ministry, to reach out to unbelieving students, and to bring them into a community that praises God’s Holy name. With a focus on junior high and senior high school students, participants in this ministry help teach classes, chaperone events, or host devotionals in their home.
Teen classes meet in the Upper Room (Rm 324)
Our teen classes are designed to help students build a confident, thoughtful faith in a world full of questions. Together, we explore foundational topics like where the Bible comes from and why we can trust it, while also learning how to apply its teachings in everyday life. Through discussion, reflection, and real-life examples, teens are encouraged to see how their unique gifts and future vocations can be part of God's greater calling for them. These classes create a space where students can grow spiritually, ask honest questions, and discover what it means to follow Christ with purpose.
Teens have the opportunity to serve in the congregation:
- They volunteer in the attended nursery for children ages 2 and under during our Sunday morning assembly, as well as our Children's worship classes for children over 2 - Kindergarten.
- They participate in our worship service through scripture reading, serving communion, and prayer.
- They act as counselors and activity leaders during our annual Bible Camp and other children's events.
We also host events and community service projects for our teens every year. We take every opportunity to fellowship with one another, learn about Jesus, serve our community, and provide a safe and fun place for teens to grow their faith.
