“As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.” — 1 Peter 4:10

God doesn’t ask us to serve simply because there is work to be done. He invites us to serve because He knows what serving does within us. Serving is one of the ways God shapes our hearts. As we invest our time, talents, and love into the lives of others, our faith grows stronger. We learn patience, compassion, humility, and dependence on God. We discover gifts we didn’t know we had, build lasting friendships within our church family, and experience the joy that comes from being part of something greater than ourselves.

Jesus Himself gave us the perfect example. He came not to be served, but to serve others. When we follow His example, we reflect His love to those around us and strengthen the body of Christ. Every act of service—whether seen or unseen—has eternal value.

One of the greatest places to make an eternal impact is in the lives of children. Today’s children are tomorrow’s leaders, teachers, missionaries, and faithful servants of Christ. Every Bible story shared, every prayer offered, every craft completed, and every encouraging word spoken plants seeds that God can grow for years to come.

If you’ve been praying about where God might use your gifts, perhaps this is your opportunity. Our Children’s Ministry is looking for volunteers throughout the year. Whether you feel called to serve regularly as a teacher or would be willing to serve occasionally as a substitute teacher, your willingness can make a tremendous difference. We are also preparing for Vacation Bible Camp and would love to have additional volunteers join us in sharing God’s love with our children. You don’t have to be a Bible scholar or a professional teacher, just someone who loves Jesus and is willing to serve. We provide resources, support, and encouragement along the way.

Would you prayerfully consider joining our Children’s Ministry team? Together, we can help nurture the next generation in faith while experiencing the many blessings that come from serving God’s family.
